Talking about being decisive, I finally got back to using blogger again. Hail Google and its et-ceteras! Being absent from both blogs, (oh yes I have two, more actually, but let's just mention the main twos, shall we?) I now feel terrible for abandoning the one activity that I find so amusing: blog-walking, writing random post, blog-walking, being random, babble and so on (oh yes, they are one activity). Three to four years ago I would sit in my cozy room and blog anything on my mind, daily.

Then I found Twitter. ;)

A place where I could babble all day long and read people's babbles, wise words, updates in every single minute. This drew me away from my old-babbling place, the blog. Last week I finally found the very key that will support my old blogging hobby: comfort zone. By zone I mean, a real working area with comfortable & ergonomic chair and table. Not-so-long-story got shorter, I made a new blog, this. Moved the only five posts from my old posterous to here (which are not the old-full-of-babbles-posts), and will start filling this empty twinkleville again. Regularly I hope.

Don't expect any babbles anymore, but if you consider this as one, I don't mind. Because, if I babbled for real, hmm... You see, I'm now 23 going on 24, that babbling that I used to do were meant to be for the younger me. No more no more. You'll find bits of randomness, but no more like how it used to be. I'd post my old teensy-blog if I wanted to, but go ahead and count on how many 'no more's I typed.

Read, and think again. 'No matter what happens..' wow, I'll admit now, that's quite impossible. Nevertheless, yes, there should always be a 'but' and its synonyms, I am in my quest in learning as well though, learning to be grateful at all times, in all circumstances. It is hard, oh yeah, knowing that I'd complain easily, sigh. Hey, but I'm willing to learn, one step at a time. =)

I've finished university, but haven't done 'the walk' (graduation ceremonial), and in between, while waiting, without wasting money and do nothing, I have a job.

I am grateful.

A job that gives me experience though not so much of an income. Well, the quantity is quite subjective, but as for how I normally spend every month when I wasn't working, he he... I got to control and hold my enthusiasms in purchasing a lot of objects. You know what I mean.

I have to be grateful... and I am grateful.

Although, to be honest, my parents are still paying for the place I'm staying. ha ha ha. And for this, I'm grateful!

But in this case, I can be grateful for my family, and where we are, and knowing that I'm able to control myself in unzipping my wallet to take out either paper money or the plastic one. =)

I am grateful for having a self-control.

I am grateful for tragedies happened in the past that really can make me see things differently.

I am grateful for having to legs that can hold my body when walking to the office everyday. =)

I am grateful for amazingly talented people that surrounds me. Be it family, boyfriend, besties, church and school friends, colleagues, or even the housemaid at home who's helping out with the laundry.

I am grateful.

This list can go on forever.

You get the point.

I am even grateful for this posterous page, where I can share how great is my God. =)

The word Avalanche is defined as "a mass of snow, ice and rocks falling rapidly down a mountainside". Figuratively, avalanche is "A sudden arrival or occurrence of something in overwhelming quantities".

In its lyrics, in the chorus to be exact, it says:

Caught up in grace like an avalanche, awhh, *melts* =P. For me personally it is one beautiful line, and i think, this is exactly how 'Grace' is supposed to be described. I've heard a lot of thoughts on grace, how it's abundantly given to us, or grace is enough and all of that. I'm not saying that the other descriptions are wrong, but like I've mentioned before, personally, i think "like an avalanche" is the perfect description. Why?

Look at the picture up there, that's the literal meaning of an Avalanche, falling snow, tons of it, heavy, you just can't get out of there once you've been hit. Here, grace is an avalanche, a good avalanche. Poured down for us, each of us, all the same amount.

Quite hard isn't it? When we say 'I love you' to anyone we care about, whether it's the boyfriend/girlfriend, mother/father, husband/wife, to siblings, or others, the word Love seems so easy to be said and done. By human dictionary Love is defined as "An intense feeling of deep affection" (new oxford american dictionary). That's why when we care and have an affection or if we adored someone so deeply we would consider it as Love... But oh how we have forgotten the real definition of Love, written by God himself through his apostle Paul. We also know that God is Love (1 John 4:8 NIV), if we want a proof of that, try cross-checking with what he has done with the passage up there. I'm sure he'll amazingly ticked off each one of them, and that is Love. As a human, it sounds so impossible for me to have such love. We're just too used to with the basic dictionary meaning, but never really understand when we love someone, we actually should do such things listed up there are, without feeling burdened. (Uh oh :p)... Oh wow.. I must admit it's very hard, yes very very hard to really apply each attempt to how I love. Nevertheless.. Hard is not the synonym of impossible right? (I've checked it, definitely not in the thesaurus of 'Hard' HAHAHA)
So there you go people, read, consider, and apply, slowly but surely. I'm on my way to do them as well *wink*. And uhmm God, I'm sure you're watching me as I type this down, so, help me out *wide grin*.

I can't believe I'm doing this right now (fyi, I'm in the midst of typing my final paper), but hey, inspiration just popped in my short-haired-head, and so yeah... HAPPY MERRY AWESOME NEW YEAR, EARTH PEOPLE!

January the second today, and this is my first blogpost ever in 2011! Wee-Hee! Alrighty, enough being euphoric, now let's get serious. ;) I posted this in "MMXI" as the title. Got the inspiration from Google Doodle on new year's day. So yeah, MMXI is basically the roman number for 2011. (And oh! I love Google Doodle! They always have these amazing creative ideas to celebrate a special day in a little rectangle box). Two-Thousand-Eleven! Wow wow wow! Twenty-ten was magical to me, and hopefully yours was splendid as well, and I really cannot wait to actually walk and really be surrounded by things to come in 2011! Here's the question.. "How many texts / broadcast messages (Blackberry user only) / tweets / posts / and so on did you receive on for New Year's Day?" Mine was, hmm didn't really count them though but it was A LOT! So now I feel kinda bad cause what I did was: read every single one of them and DELETED THEM!?!?!?!? ok, breathe breathe... Sad. I should've kept them, at least until today! And that, is definitely a new lesson that'll remind me to keep them safe and sound for the next New Year! *wide grin* Going on to the serious part... I just want to share that I'm totally blessed on the beginning of this brand new year! You see, the little thing called Twitter, really is a good thing, only, remember, only if you followed the wise twitter people, tweeps gotta know what I'm talking about. So here are the tweets that I consider really good to start the new beginning. Not many, but I hope these will inspire you as they have inspired me.

Noticed something here?

I deleted all of my previous posts, since they are all just babbles and unimportant things. :p

Well, some are perhaps considerably tiny bit important, but well, this post, this one now, is gonna be officially the last post in 2010. And I'm going to have this long list of new year's resolution, which, I am not gonna mention one by one here. But there is this one, inspired by a person who I adore, admire & care so much, Fellexandro Ruby, I will try to write again. =)

Write here doesn't mean i'm gonna write a book or any of those too-serious-literatures, but just blogging regularly, with less babbles and random things.

I can't predict what's gonna happen in 2011, but i'm expecting greater things will happen, since, I have a great God!

Let me tell you about my 2010...

It has been a rollercoaster ride I must say. I have a God who's full of surprises and amazing plans, and in our humanly perspectives, his plans are just too crazy, too painful and too overwhelming for us. Nevertheless, when we've passed it, and we look back, well from my experience, i looked back and i can feel myself grinning so so wide in happiness.

Back to the story,

on January 19th 2010, my house, the house I've been living in for 21 years got burned. All is gone, what's left is just the clothes that we (me & my family) have on, and thankfully, our cars, and a dog. And also thank God all of us were not in the house, so all family members were perfectly safe. We lost our other puppy and a cat, and basically everything we've piled up for 21+ years in that house. I've shared my persepective on this several months ago, and i just want to say again, when i look back and looked at what happened, and looking at where I am now, truly, when God makes a plan, it's surely unexpectable, overwhelming, but so amazing and ohh, i don't know what to say... :')

February - May 2010, internship happened, i chose the big city, Jakarta.

Being in a big city, alone, is supposedly hard for a girl like me.. :p

But! (there's always a but in great stories eh? =P) Several months before leaving my hometown, Surabaya, I met a bunch of super-talented-friendly-great-people a.k.a the Cinsubays (this is not a family surname :p)! And all of them are Jakartans, so yeah, you can guess... I was well-welcomed by each of them! Internship was a beyond fun thing for me, having the opportunity to intern in a great magazine company, I am grateful. =) Weekdays I have fun working.. and weekends, are the fun-nest part of the week! Hanging out with friends, going to church with them, and listen to amazing insights every week. I am blessed...

And in between ... *wink* (this is personal) =P

July - December 2010,

the very-most-important part of my four years study in uni. I major in Interior Design, so here I am at the tip of the end of the line being in university... Well, there's one more final paper due next week, but it'll be the latest thing. And, i think in this last semester, i've been having an up-and-down emotional moments, being so confused and pressured by deadlines and projects, but well, still gotta finish them all.

TWENTY-ELEVEN {2010}

ok those are the firstliners of my resolutions :p

and one thing is, that:

I AM BEYOND GRATEFUL FOR 2010

AND

I CANT WAIT TO STEP INTO BRAND NEW AMAZING 2011

a new year is just as fresh as a new day comes, and still, one of my favourite quotes:

"I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I know Who holds tomorrow"

So i hope you're grateful for what you've passed in 2010, and will do greater things in year ahead! =)
